Clutch please lock my other Luis Scola thread as it's no use, that video came out terrible.

I redid Games 3 and 4, it's much much better/smoother and the clips run longer so it's not as annoying. I also did each game separate, for the few Rocket fans complaining about the sucky youtube quality, I made a link to download a Higher quality video of one of the games, it's a pretty awesome one too if I must say so myself.

All four of these games occurred last month from June 1st to June 10th

Higher Quality Download link to Game 2

Thanks for all the feedback and again Clutch please lock the other thread as it's useless.

I'm sure you all are annoyed now by all these scout videos and threads but I'm finally done and I know a few of you die-hards will appreciate it. Hopefully Scola signs and has his press conference tomorrow so we have yet another new Scola video :)

I really like his game, I'm sure all you guys read my scout notes and stuff in the last thread so theres no use in posting it all over again as I have the same mind-set. I just can't wait until this next season begins!! We got Scola for free, great move, great addition.

Yes, I realized right after I posted... I'm very sorry but it seems I'm not allowed to edit posts.

Perhaps a moderator could do it... I'm not used to this forum yet. :(

Thanks again, much appreciated. My comments after seeing the videos,
    Fluid and polished offensive scorer.
    Good passer.
Can make a mid range shot but seems to be inconsistent with it.
Uses his long arms to block shots occasionally.
Shows emotion and has a certain toughness to his game.
Very weak rebounder, worst part of his game IMO.
Hustles on defense, needs a lot of improvement.
    Needs to improve free throws.

He can be a good role player for the Rockets and is a welcome addition IMO.

How is his free throw shooting? From the looks of it he finishes a lot with crafty layups. I'm thinking that will translate to a fairly high foul drawn rate in the NBA. I just hope he can keep consistently finishing them. He is very crafty near the basket. He looks like a great fit as long as he focuses on rebounding a little more.

Used to be a terrible free throw shooter. But he has developed both his free throw and mid range shooting. Now he has a solid mid range shot and is at least decent from the free throw line.

    His stats through the years:

    06-07 76%
    05-06 71%
    04-05 71%
    03-04 72%
    02-03 65%
    01-02 65%
    00-01 62%

His midrange game is comparable to juwan howards from what I've seen in these videos. Maybe slightly better. I'm pretty impressed with his footwork though. He also needs to work on settings picks better.

Sorry to disappoint you but he isn't stromile swift.. and he doesn't dunk very often at all. He is like Yao, as he likes to lay the ball up instead of dunking, even when open however he does dunk every now and then.

To the guy asking about free throws.. hes not bad but he isnt good.. The best comparison is to compare him to T-Mac from last season.. He wasn't terrible but he definitely missed his fair share

BTW I REFUSE... REFUSE To watch another international game, I would go as far as saying I would rather watch the WNBA then see another rechid international game... the international players play like bigger girls then well... our girls in the wnba... Everyother trip up the court there seems to be some guy flying across 10 feet in the air liek he just got hit by a car from a very minor push, it is pitiful to watch, if I didn't know that they were serious about it I would of thought it was a comedy and spoof of floppers but they are for real about it . This happend EVERY-OTHER trip up court, its absolutely insane.

I just hope and pray that the NBA doesn't end up like this sh/t... however with the increase of international players and seeing what guys such as Flopiski and Ginoboli have done our future does not look bright, I'm holding out hope, this international ball is absolutely terrible, it's like watching 10 pussified V-Span cry-babies on the court at the same time.

Thanks for the videos. I hope he can adjust to the NBA level of play and not get discourage. I am sure he can adjust and the Rockets will be one of the top 4 teams in the West.

I think he will be a very very good player. As shown in some of the clips he has outstanding athleticism, good footwork, and a solid mid range game. He needs to work on boxing out instead of just running a the hoop to get rebounds but NBA coaches will help with that. I expect about 12ppg and 5rpg in an even time share with Chucky(5ppg and 8rpg).

EDIT: Nevermind. I just read realjd told you the same and you acknowledged it. :)

    Thanks for the vids!
