Until denniscd has a track record approaching even 1/4th of what pryuen's is, I'm gonna go with pryuen's word. You don't get credit around here until you have definitively proven yourself. At least that's the way it used to be.

Ya, I was pretty mad at the shot you took at CD. But let bygone's be bygone's...

I really believe your story, maybe you got a tiny little part wrong, like instead of teammates on Chinese National Team, it was his teammates with Shanghai Sharks? But you surely don't deserve to be discredited like that...

You are totally on target. Your comments on CD were way out of line and added nothing to the forum. Thanks for owning up to that. I say this as someone who wasn't offended by them and is definitely no CD fan at all.

Your comments on Yao's ankle are welcome. Don't let 2 or 3 people control what you post here. Don't give them that satisfaction. I had someone do that to me and my reaction was to post more. Keep on bringing any insider info you feel comfortable posting and rest assured the vast majority of us here appreciate it. Don't be fooled or discouraged just because a couple of guys ambush you and won't let up. Ignore them and be yourself.

One thing to remember is when you post opinions of the Rockets players, coaches or management that people disagree with, you are fair game like anyone else. And always expect some level of skepticism about any insider info. That's just the way it is. The silent vast majority loves it.

If you have legit info, post it, but be aware of the flaming you may receive when you do. I don't love CD but he can coach (my only real disagreement with you). I personally think he is a great coach and a terrible GM for what that is worth. Just leave out the attitude and don't try to defend yourself when you post because some of these nuts live for the kill and can't wait to attack.

Let's face it, if you're an insider and have inside knowledge, you probably can't divulge your sources. If you can't divulge your sources, you can't really defend yourself. The lesson here is that you're going to be doubted by people because of it until you have a track record. It's good to have a thick skin and ignore the bashers if you really have inside info. And if what you say comes out being right, it's always fun watching others eat crow. :)

FYI : 2 people broke the Steve Francis-to-Houston trade on this board from what I recall. One was a kid who happened to be in a mall shopping for shoes and overheard some guy on a cell phone and the conversation about the trade about to take place. Now who the hell is gonna believe some kid in a mall shopping for shoes and his "inside information"? ;)

(I think I got that right... the legend grows.... hehe)

I can't believe some of you guys are buying this insider crap.

OMG, CD is Satan. This cannot be proved or disproved unless we know CD personally. And a guy is good or bad is just personal opinion. Besides, knowing CD dosen't mean someone is an insider. Mr. Insider could be a waiter who were still pissed at CD for not giving him enough tips.

OMG, Yao got an ankle sprain in China playing with his CNT teammates. Very clever here, if it is a minor one, nobody will report it and thus cannot be proved wrong. If somehow there's a report, I TOLD YOU SO I AM AN INSIDER.
Predicting a basketball player getting an ankle sprain is like predicting there will be a traffic jam in NY, highly likely. Luckily(unluckily for someone), we have a resident Yao stalker ;) here, provided us lots of pictorial and written evidences to disprove the probability of YAO playing with his CNT teammates.

Don't let the hatral of angry red letters and eyes-rolling emoticons clouded your judgements. Unlike some of the real insiders who give us trade info on this site, this guy gives us nothing except

    1) CD eats children
    2) Arguments like "if you disagree with me, keep living in your fantasy world and I won't give any insider info ever!"
    3) A thread dedictated to someone's signature cause he can't stand the idea of someone making fun of JVG, though it's fair game to bash CD

What a bad info. Again Yao has the problem with foot. I know that sprained ankle ain't a big problem but somtimes it could be a problem. Hopefully Yoa wil get better as soon as possible.

I wouldn't get worked up about it until (if) it is confirmed. I'm surprised it hasn't been proven or disproven already.

Also, it isn't proven that DennisCD is a Rockets employee - only that he knows someone who is in or close to the organization. He could be he could be not...

    Cheers,
    Brock

Okay I could start my own thread saying Tmac rolled his ankle yesterday. How does that justify me as an Insider? We need proof. Unless you've talked to Clutch and proved it.

to be fair, it is pretty much proven that he has contact with someone who has contact with the organization.

what this chain of information might be isn't really important if this information proves to be accurate. If, on the other hand, this turns out to be false information the folks on this forum will be bringing it up for years to come.

Either way, this is good fun.

    Cheers,
    Brock
