As you can see I am a longtime member but I rarely post. I do visit every day though and I just want to say how great this site is. I am very excited about the addition of Adelman, James, Brooks and Scala this season. That said, on to the questions - I'm sure these have been discussed before but if someone could help out, I sure would appreciate - :)

Why hasn't Bobby Sura retired already?
How did we acquire Justin Reed?
Have we offered Deke a contract yet?

    Again, thanks and GO ROCKETS!!!

    Let me try.
    1. Sura don't want go when getting paid, nobody forced him, yet.
2.J Reed was part of James-Howard deal from wolves.
    3. Deke's not been offered a contract as of today.

right, i think deke is a last option. probably try to trade jl3/sura/etc. for a backup scrub PF/C that adelman likes... if not they'll probably sign Deke just incase yao goes down again.

    1. his contract is a tradable asset. the rockets want to hold onto it and bob continues to get paid. works well for both parties.

    2. no one knows yet. lets see how the roster shapes out over the rest of the summer.

    3. not yet. I agree 100% with dominator in post #3.
