    If the court is looking out for the best interest in the child, then wouldnt their current law contradict that?

    If men, knowing that the child is not theirs, act like a parent are liable for child support in the future.

    After being aware of this law, wouldnt more men just cut ties off and not treat the child as theirs?

    I think the real interest for the child is to have an "acting parent" and will probably lose that if men start to care about payments in the future if relationships break with their girlfriends

    Well did she know? Obviously she slept with another dude. But maybe she got boned by both guys during the same week, or maybe the same hour.
