Regarding a possible delay for the PS3 version: http://www.maddenwars.com/ I'm assuming this is reliable info (don't know much about the site, not sure why they'd make it up). Good to see that there appears to be no delay for the PS3 version, and that EA seems to be figuring out how to get football running at 60 FPS on the PS3 (although not in time for NCAA 08 unfortunately). Of course, I'm assuming they're not going to have any giant downgrades in visuals in order to obtain that framerate.
Hahahaha-tinman And ya. The PS3 delay was only semi-accurate. Certain stores have yet to receive their PS3 allotment, many stores (Hastings College Station) will not be doing a midnight release. However other stores (Inglewood) are already selling the PS3 version and early impressions are out although they are hardly insightful. Youtube videos of the PS3 version are also up but the quality is too poor to judge.
ok, forgive my stupidity, but I've always been a PS2 guy. I finally bought an xbox 360 last month, but I've never played online. I'm guessing this thread means you can log into xbox live, and download the demo for NCAA 2008? Can you play a whole game, or is it like just a quarter, half, etc. Are all teams available? I was going to wait till the game came out to sign up for xbox live, but if the demo is sweet, i'll sign up now. Thanks in advance.

have u connected your xbox to the web? you should have a free month or so trial of xbox live. yeah the demo is like 2 minute quarters, u can only pick michigan or usc.

Not a Boise fan? No thats not it. I am not a Zabransky fan. He is a tool. I can tell I would hate that guy in real life. Have you seen his Z tattoo? I go by Ziggy, you don't see a huge Z tattooed on my shlong (not that anything on my shlong could be huge). They make him out to be some hero, the guy threw a ridiculous pick late in the game against OU. He almost gave the game away! Luckily a few gimmicks later his ass was saved.
Besides the frame rate, has anyone heard of any other major differences? I just took my mcat and i was deciding if i should get it for ps3 or 360 I had 2006 for ps2 and i loved it and 2007 for 360 was really dry but fun, but it seems like they both will have the same features.
Maddenmania.com has the best review of the PS3. From what I can gather the only advantage PS3 has is an easier way to transfer custom rosters so you can use real names.
I'm so stoked for the game to come out! Typically, I'd go to the midnight release at Gamestop. However, I have a gift card to Best Buy that my fiance gave me so I'm just going to use it on that. I read that this year there will be medical redshirts on players who get hurt during the season. That's freaking sweet! I really dig the details like that. Also, I'm curious to see how recruiting is amended since that's often one of the most fun parts of the game, and it seems to get more in depth each year. Can't wait....
