All I wanted was 18-19pts, 16-19 rebs from our pivot and thats pretty much what we're getting. As long as we're getting that kind of production, we'll be in a lot of games and win a few. Looking at every team except LA , Mia, Sac, and SA, who else can say they get 18pts- 18rebs from the center position? Thats a compliment to Cato and Willis. We wouldn't get nearly that if we had slow ass Collier playing.
Let's not be too overcritical of OMESKOOL mmmmkay? He has a point regarding Cato may or may not deserve love and it may not be baseful and warranted to imply Cato deserves anymore special recognition derived on only a coulpe of games...after all look at the numbers respective of individual performance. personally I say he has improved, but is it significant enough?
Here's my argument. When has anyone booed by the homefans ever done good. Even if deserved, hate and boos just breed bad plays and no effort. Now if we applaud his "positive" plays, maybe he starts to be conditioned. Hey positive play = cheers, happy teammates then mnaybe he will start coming around. Maybe, maybe not, but what the hell will booing and being negative towards him bring? A lot more of a "who cares" attitude, less hussle, more mistakes. Love is good. Hate is bad.
Applaud Cato - It is early, but my expectations for him were low and I'm pleased with his output. Willis as backup gives us some depth we have not had since before Cato signed his contract when he showed a lot of promise. Things are very good now....
