if they only ask black people to show receipts then they have something here, but even if they win they would not get 400 million no matter how you slice it.

i'm sure i'm missing something, but, even if the plaintiff's are right and they do check only black people's receipts, why can't Toys R Us do that? as a private company, can they not have whatever rules they want? or is that not the case. or does the nature of their company somehow make them fall under the government's rules of not being able to discriminate?

it seems to me they should be able to be as racist as they want when it comes to checking receipts and thus not be sued in this case. people would then be free to never shop there again and it could cause them to go out of business, but i don't see why they should get sued for it.

    :(

once I left their house (the day after graduation), I didnt get my hair cut for roughly 3 years....and even then it was just to trim the ends.

Except that was more than just one or two employees but a pattern. This case so far just seems like or or two employees.

    I agree.

The company is very liable. Ie. if you have cell service with at&t and I screw up your account I'm liable and so is the company because technically I am at&t. But they can be held liable for my actions ecause they should monitor them...
