Just speculation. On the 1st day of Dennis Lindsey took the Spurs job, he got an interview with 610. He said the Rockets would get a very good PF. OMG! It's true. Of course, with Dennis on board, there would be less resistance to send Scola to the Rockets. The Spurs can simply held out Luis Scola and make him stay in Europe. But it's just my speculation.

IF Scola gets finally signed, he will be a true STEAL... The guy is talented, experienced and very hard nosed... IMO he's clearly better than Milicic and the other FA PFs in the market...
What doesn't make sense is that You think this guy would die to play with manu and roberto on the Spurs and make the Spurs the argentina invasion. And the Spurs wouldn't do it? Strange.
Morey showed us all that he indeed knows what he is doing. How many of us are worried about that 26th pick. Hell, that pick could have gone to waste (luckily i think brooks will contribute) and even then this would make everything ok.

Morey delivers!!! Scola is a smart and talented player at the 4 spot and Butler however is still a project at 22 yrs of age, great move!!
Can we take him to be groomed? Everything I am reading on him says that he will should be able to perform at this level. There will probably be a bit of a transitional period though.
What's funny is in the 19 pages on the spurs site only one person has commented on trying to talk vspan into staying and I think he was being sarcastic.

Ugliness can be intangible. If Scola screams like that in the face of a player trying to go up for a layup, that player would surely miss. No block will be credited, therefore, an intangible.
