Avery referred to Steve as "an edgy sort of guard, who has played well at times. . . "

Is Steve such a cancer that you would prefer he go to a division rival than return to Houston?

I would be fine with that. He would get buried on that bench. They have Jason Terry, Devin Harris, and that one fan-favorite guy (name escapes me). With Houston, he would actually have a purpose.

He would play the off-gaurd in Dallas and is still capable of being a dynamic player, however it doesn't matter, because he is going to the Clippers.

Sign him and trade Rafer. I don't want to chance the possibilty of Rafer attempting more teardrops under Adelman's system.

He is underrated now in the league and Im sure the Mavs would find a way to use him. I honestly believe he is better than Jet, but not in the Mavs system.....

Hes not a cancer, hes just played on crappy teams....
tmac is a cancer using the same logic. The knicks sucked before they got him and orlando still sucks.

what does it matter if SF goes to the Mavs? its not like he some kind of superstar. he is on a rapid decline at this point in his career and he should feel lucky to get on any good playoff contending team like Dallas.

Do you think so?, his minutes have gone down but when Marbury was injured he averaged like 25 a game at "starting point guard". He was great in Orlando until they made the Mobley for Doug Christie trade. I think it has more to do with the situation he is in.....

I hope SF goes to Dallas. AJ is tired of "standing up the whole game" and wants a PG he can trust to run their offense. SF would be the perfect fit, for Mavs opponents.

Besides, if Francis starts at point guard, by mid-season, AJ and Cuban would overpay for Rafer Alston.

i would love to see Francis with the Rockets. How possible is that? i don't know, now that we just got a PF, but i can still dream right. But if Francis is not with the Rockets i would rather see him with the Clippers and not the mavs.

i would prefer him going to the clippers and watching the guards that formerly played for the rox eat the Mavs lunch time after time again.....
