It's unfortunate that we can't get the original transcript of the interview, because I'm sure Luther spoke in English, it got translated into Chinese for the Chinese site, and pryuen just translated it back to English. That's two translations right there and I'm sure some stuff got lost.

He can, but was asked not to in JVG's offense.

One play that I would like y'all to recall is the one where Yao posts up with Luther in the corner. Luther takes off down the baseline, catches Yao's pass, and lays in for an easy bucket.

Consider that Adelman's offense consists entirely of those types of plays.

I want more Head this year.

Hopefuly he doesnt get traded... he still has alot to offer for this team and shouldnt be traded because all he will do is get better... you never now if he comes of the bench for the rest of his career he may become a future 6th man winner.

Luther never got any open looks in the playoffs... the only game he realy got his three going was in game five.

Luther plays no D, cannot handle the rock, and is too small to play the 2. As a result, good trade bait for a power forward.

Think Head still has a lot of upside left, hope we keep him unless we get something worthwhile in return.

ya, i think trading away luther is going to be a big mistake...i think a better alternative is to use battier to obtain a better PF and move bonzi to the starting lineup. that way, mac plays a better position for him both offensively and defensively, and luther can be the sniper off the bench. plz....make that happen....battier for some good PF.

I like Luther so I think he is safe. The person I would like to see go is alston. He is an okay point but I don't think his shooting is good enough. It's not consistant and for someone who was working all off season on his 3 point shooting to not really improve during the season just sucks. All I can think about is all those open 3's that had no chance of going in

Give Luther Head another year. He was great as a clutch 3 point shooter during the regular season, maybe he just had the playoff jitters last year. If he can't perform again in the playoffs this year, then we can talk about trading him.

Head was not restricted in JVG's system, if anything he was the least restricted. Head was the same player in college, he just shot 3s. He has no handles and he can't penetrate or pass. He's just a spot up shooter.

I have to ask, exactly how many Illinois games did you watch Luther play in? Don't make me Orange Krush you!

And if you don't understand that last reference I will know for sure how many you have seen.

According to wiki, orange krush is a registered student organization at the University of Illinois. That or a sweet wedding/party band from North Carolina. :D

Rught. I also like that move when Luther takes the ball from Yao and finishes with a layup. But I would also see that play with Kirk Snyder cause he would probably dunk it :D

Luther played only his second year, and I can't say he played badly. He was pretty god shooter but I didn't/don't like his games against good teams. He should add a lot of new plays to his game

I like that play. But I think luther missed quite a few easy lay-ups. He needs to dunk that ball.
