    the auction was last year... this is an old thread i bumped rather than starting a new one.

    as for what they're going to build, the final decision is supposed to come later this year. mixed residential and commercial with the light rail running through it is what the article says.

    well that was weird.

    I used to work as astroworld as I'm sure many of you did. if you wanted a piece of cyclone, you could have waited for one to break and fall off.

    Really miss AstroWorld. Will hold onto the memories of going there with my friends listening to Prince "Diamonds and Pearls" and some Ugly Kid Joe on the way up there, seeing all the thugs and gangstas hangin out together from the surrounding areas in unison....getting my pubescent mack-on out there...fun times.

    The first time I heard that rumor I was in 3rd grade. It's probably been going around longer than that.
