What an incredible conclusion to an incredible World Series. Highly enjoyable. I'll give credit where credit is due. Both teams played a hell of a series, but the D-Backs just wanted it a little bit more, Yankee miracles notwithstanding. As a resident of NYC, I'd be lying if I said I didn't want New York to win the Series for the city of New York. I don't think NY deserved to win due to the terror attacks (sorry, I'm just not a Yankees fan), but it would've been really nice for the City's psyche after all we've been through. But the better team won tonight, so I say "Hats off to the D-Backs!' I've always been an NL man, anyway...

Let's do this again real soon, y'hear? Only next time, perhaps the Astros will be hoisting the World Championship trophy after Game 7 in Enron...

    Congratulations D-Backs-

One hell of a series and one hell of a team. How can you not feel happy for Schilling and Johnson right now?

Congratulations to the D-backs. They were the better team and they deserved the rings. MY Yanks will be back next year though. :(

No they won't. Nobody will be back because there will be another lockout, and this time when they come back, no one will care about Major League Baseball ever again. Good riddance to MLB - at least until you institute a salary cap and revenue sharing..contracting teams is a weak ass way out.
