I met JVG at the Rice Super-regional against A&M this year (game 1). I shook his hand, and if I was thinking fast enough I would have told him that Rice could use a real basketball coach. Gary Kubiak was also at the game, but I only saw him from a distance. I've took a course (Christianity and Islam in Africa) with Morris Almond. He's a real nice, bright, down-to-Earth guy. Sucks Utah has him. I've run into Hayes Carll in club bathrooms about 5 times. He has the privilege of being the only celebrity (albeit, he's kind of local) I've talked to while peeing. I've also met Todd Snider, Morgan Ensberg, and former President George Bush (#41).
