    Meh, never been much for racing games and don't know much about FI. (my own fault, I know)

    I don't think the mainstream will really notice the difference. Probably not much of an issue.

    If more high profile games continue to change, that would be more of a bad sign.

    (not to offend fatal inertia fans)

    I wouldn't say this is disappointing...it may be more disappointing for 360 owners actually. ;)

    Both this and Bladestorm have always had pretty poor showings, although the last time I saw Fatal Inertia, it did start to look pretty decent (I was still thinking it would come out at launch or shortly after though). Now after all the delays, I wouldn't be too optimistic about the game's quality, especially when I'm reminded of who is developing the game. The issue with UE3.0 and the PS3 is a pretty big deal though (although there is speculation that maybe they dropped UE3.0...doubt it though). I have enjoyed the whole scenario regarding FI.

    Sony did gain Heavy Rain exclusivity today though AFAIK. PS3 owners should be happy with that in the end. I'll take that over Fatal Inertia any day of the week, especially since FI may still be released on the PS3 (though the release of Wipeout this year probably makes it almost irrelevant).

    I thought it showed promise. It was really sleek and different that most of the racing games. It reminded me of this old game I used to play...something about the edges. If you went to either edge you would be electrocuted.

    Hopefully we'll see something at E3.

    Well, it certainly is a different type of racing game, I'll give them bonus points for that.

    Maybe they can pull out a decent game from all this, but it has a lot of the signs of a mediocre title. Like I said, I thought it might have been close to turning things around last time I saw it, but the delays and other stuff that went on during development haven't really helped me remain optimistic about the game. Maybe they can change my mind at E3, assuming it is there.

    BTW, were you thinking about F-Zero?

    This game looks awful. Reminds me of that Star Wars Racing or whatever for N64.
