RMTex: I'm fairly certain I already know the answer, but is it generally pretty much dead around that time? or is there still a fair bit of activity going on?

Just curious, I'd hate to be stuck waiting to use something late at night.

According to the website, the membership prices don't look all too terrible. For a basic level membership (Access to one club, since I'd only be going to that one)

    Initiation Fee: $24
    Processing Fee: $79.99
    Ongoing Monthly Dues: $36.99

140 to start up (the first month) but then 36.99 a month afterwards.

Let's say I have a membership at the Meyerland 24 hour fitness...how difficult would it be to transfer membership to let's say, the Voss location, like if I moved.

I think that's all I have before I go back to bed. I'll also be taking these questions with me when I actually go and get more info, but if you guys have something, even better. :)

There is usually anywhere from 6-12 people working out when I get there at 4-4:30 AM during the week. No waiting for anything. Saunas & the pool are closed from 12AM - 5AM. I don't know how tough it would be to transfer a membership, but for more $$$, you can buy a membership that allows you to work out at any 24hr fitness in the country.

I go to the MAC (Memorial Athletic Club) Its beside Randall's in the Memorial Dairy Ashford intersection. ( http://www.fitmac.com/ )

Hrs are pretty good. Open at 5am close around 10. Friendly employees. One person per month is $43 or so, kinda high but for 2 people its only $69. And also, NO contracts. Everything is month-to-month.

    Miguel,

If you want to become a 24hr member. Go to the facility you want to workout at. They will negotiate on the price big time. They pull out a book with pricing, and you keep saying no, and they keep going down in price. They will waive initial fees as well.

Question #1 - Meyerland. Always good hoops games going on during regular hours.

    Question #2 - Richmond @ 610. Stripper/implant nirvana. :D
