Im looking for all you can eat king crab or lobster. I know people rave about the buffet at the Rio, but there is two of them. The Rio World Buffet, and the Village Seafood Buffet. Is there any difference? preference? Ive been to the Rio World Buffet and it didnt impress me since Ive been to the Bellagio Champagne Brunch Buffet before. But the last time I was at the Bellagio Buffet I was dissapointed because they replaced the king crab with boiled shrimp
In all honesty, I've only been to one of the top rated buffets, and it's in the 2nd tier of the top rated buffets...the Spice Market Buffet at Aladdin/Planet Hollywood. It was pretty good -- but I don't really get all of the hype of the expensive buffets. Unless you just really like to stuff your face, I think most people would be better of going to a nice sit down restaurant. The Spice Market was nice, but I felt like I got about a $10 meal at a sit down restaurant for much more and I still had to serve myself.
Any of you guys going to be in Vegas July 20-23? I'll be staying at various hotels around Las Vegas during that weekend and would love to meet up with some Clutchfans.
I have been to the Village Seafood buffet at Rio and to the buffet at Aladdin. Both were very very good.
I'm not much of a buffet person when I go to Vegas. I like to hit all the steakhouses. But if I remember correctly Ceasers had an awesome buffet. I wasnt too impressed with the World buffet at Rio.
Gummi, try the spice market buffet @planet hollywood also dishes @ti is great special mention: cravings @mirage
Best, and the most expensive buffets in no order are the Rio, Wynn LV, and Bellagio. You can't go wrong at those three, though they are expensive as hell but really good.
I have found memories of the Rio buffet. My wife and I stuffed our faces so much that we were almost late to our own wedding. Got married at the little white chapel and rode the New York, New York coaster afterwords. That was an awesome wedding day.
Wynn was awesome. I just to vegas couple weeks back. It's $37.95, though. Worth it? Probably, if we'd gone alittle earlier. (we went an hour before closing, lol).
back when i went which was awhile back.. caesars palace had the best lobster buffet! rio had the best variety overall
I fashion myself a Vegas buffet expert and have the gut to prove it....If you have the $$$$ the Wynn is now the place to go...Wexy and I ate there once almost accidentaly and I threw up in my mouth a little when I got the bill....Thankfully we had made a good chunk of change betting against the Hawks and Knicks in a parlay...But I digress...the Wynn has great variety and a lot of chefs ready to make you whatever you want if you don't see what you want.
