The think this lineup will be very effective if we can get some quality minutes out of Shane at the 4 spot. Other thoughts are appreciated. Yao Tmac Shane James Our 26th Pick - Morris Almond (lights out shooter with the body to match), the evaluations say his D is suspect. I could almost go with Big Baby who can score from 15 ft out and get crucial rebounds. We need a lineup that requies the defense to play 5 on 5 instead of 4 or 3 on 5 with Rafer, Chuck, or Snyder (can't shoot right) in the game. Rafer, Chuck, or Snyder are good role players who can play 20 minutes or so to get enough rest for the starters. AK crybaby was coming from the weakside blocking shots and wreaking havoc on our offense. I'm considering Luther gone somewhere, because his defense and decision making is a liability.
Who is your PF? Battier? Nah, we need someone who can bang with Boozer/Garnett/Duncan, etc. They would eat him for breakfast.

Last 5 minutes of 4th Quater in 2007-2008: Vspan Bonzi Novak Chuck Mutombo(Or someone else) Because most of our games would be leading by 15-20 points by the end of 4th quater...
I do agree that we need at least 4 offensive players. Yao, T Mac, James for sure. Bonzi and Battier are the other two at this point. Seems a bit small to me, but it is what I would now put in the last 5 minutes in a playoff game. It is possible, but problematical that we can somehow get a PF who could replace either Bonzi or Shane in crunch time. I agree it is hard to anticipate a rookie being that person.
i would take anybody who could grab a damn rebound....if we had that we would have been in the WCF or beyond this year....
