Based on some searching here is another pic of her and that tatoo on the arm is the same. Unless there is some major photoshop work. the chick in the 2004 pic has a tattoo on her right arm that the 2007 pic doesnt have. that tat looks like either a serrano pepper or a knife...classy! if that is her, that means she underwent quite an image transformation in 3 years - her current look is probably more of a marketing gimmick than how she genuinely is. personally, i prefer strung-out amy to street-walker amy!
Musically she is very talented ( my grandmother is a 68 year old black woman and she loves her) but she is one of the few female pop artists who I can honestly say I WOULD NOT hit.
I'm not an expert in health and nutrition and fitness but what I have noticed is a similar trend in myself going from 250 to 170 to 185. I lost a ton of weight and at 170 i looked very frailed. concaved chest, thin arms. But once I got down to that slimmer build I added another 15 pounds on and i've bulked up a bit. So maybe the hollywood stars are on some sort of fitness regime where they get super skinny and then start to sculpt from there. Doesn't appear healthy but that's waht it seems to be doing. OR...they just stop snorting so much coke and smoking crack.

She's no Corinne Bailey Rae, but she is talented no doubt. She makes real music, no pop-ish, over synthesized nonsense. I like her album, and def enjoy listening to her. Looking at her, now that's another story... she's nothing to take home to mom that's for sure.
I read on a music blog the reason she went anorexic was because some fans started questioning whether she was too fat on her message board. She even admitted that was partly the reason. No joke.
Music counts, and I def think that her music and voice is awesome; she is more a kind of billy holiday chick, druggy, alcohol & live fast die young; sure she is not the prettiest, but boy what fun can be haved with this girl! she rocks!
