Could somebody with an insider account post at least the portions about Yao Ming and the Rockets? They make it look like there are Yao Ming trade rumors. There also rumors about several other players - including Artest - that I'm sure would be interesting to Rockets fans. http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/feat...ttp://insider.espn.go.com/nba/features/rumors
I dont have the insider account, but Morey needs to be shot if there is a even rumor of 1% possilbilty trading Yao away. Or anybody is tradable on this team after GM7 according to certain posters.
The rumor is probably something dumb like about how Yao is getting married on tv in China but, nonetheless, I need to know what it contains! I don't need to badly enough to spend 6.95 a month, mind you, but I need to know!
Nothing we don't already know... here's yao's Big News Jun 25 - China's most famous sportsman, basketball star Yao Ming, is to marry his long-time girlfriend in August, a news report said Saturday. they just talk about Yao's wedding in august and then under that have the article from the Chron about Gene and Jim retiring. ESPN Insider just rips "rumors" from local papers and pastes them into blurb form. You can get just as much info if not more from Hoopshype for free. Those are stupid rumors. Again, I'm glad I don't pay for an account with them. Thanks for filling me in though, Hayesfan, it was driving me crazy not knowing. I was watching the board for a few hours for somebody to post it and finally gave up and made this thread.
I wouldn't have it either if I didn't get ESPN magazine for free (one of those credit card company "freebies" ) The Artest rumor isn't much either. Dealing For Artest? Jun 25 - According to a league source, Minnesota may try to swing a deal for Ron Artest if it keeps Kevin Garnett. -- Arlington Heights Daily Herald
Race For Belinelli? Jun 25 - Italian basketball star Marco Belinelli is keeping his options open ahead of the NBA draft, but his handlers believe the Los Angeles Clippers and Detroit Pistons are the best placed franchises to sign him up. His brothers Umberto and Enrico are acting as his advisers and Enrico told La Gazzetta dello Sport that he felt Detroit and the Clippers are the most interested outfits although he won't be able to control how the draft unfolds. -- FIBA.com
I find it interesting to see what's going on around the league from the hometown paper perspective. but there are other free sources out there which provide the same info. ussually the insider articles don't involve anything that hasn't been debated a million times over on this board anyway...
The only thing Yao will be trading is body fluids. ...and maybe solids if he and Ye Li are into that stuff. Hot Karl!!!
I have the ESPN insider and it sucks. They basically have the same info found on Hoopshype.com, but they tack some stupid headline that gets people interested.
I just heard chauncey billups will be a free agent on july 1st. Theres more on it here http://www.nba.com/news/421033.html
