I have an eletric water heater. It's not working. All I get is cold water. So i figure the water is not heating. What's going on, what the hell do I do to diagnose it? I have no freaking clue about **** like this. Help a bro out.
Mine went out a couple of months ago. I called the warranty number on the water heater and the person who answered the phone had me try to ignite it and explain to them what was happening. They told me it was the thermocoupler (sp?) and I went to lowes and bought a new one and installed it. I then sent the receipt to the company and they mailed me a refund check.
I have an electric. I'm reading websites on troubleshooting. It said something about two panels, one on top and one on bottom. They said something about it being too hot, so it shut down, so i need to repush the button. I hope is that easy. The water heater started making noises like it water was running or something. I'm going to have my mother check in 20 minutes.
