    That was my favorite (excuse me, it's British so favourite) of the article.

    Clearly those young Muslims were complacent about their faith before other Muslims became terrorists.

    DaDakota, you have a good point...I had fun with the issue of other posters subverting rights in my thread to make a point, but the issue here is there is a balance that you either respect the rights of belief and all the extraternalities in involves or you simply state there is no place no matter to whom in public schools...

    It's very difficult for me to say one way is better...

    That's not what she was saying, she was saying 9/11 was a wake-up call to stand up to the west and go back to a deeper form of Islam (thus wearing the garb)...not to question what is going on with Islam.

    I do think that while anyone should be allowed to wear what they want, it does send a clear message that the immigrants who come here are rejecting assimilation and Western culture, which makes one wonder why bother coming to the west? It is also an affront to western culture since it is stems from values around subjugation of women.
