    Everyday: "Miller Sucks", "Moehler sucks"

    I don't think they can afford to trade him this season with a shot at winning the Central. There is just no way to predict what could happen in Sept. Another Astros run is not out of the ordinary if the pitching gets right. The offense is on fire right now. Even Oswalt isn't completely right lately.

    I say keep him and wait to see what's available in the offseason for trade.

    Now he's on the DL, so it's a non-issue. We'll see where the 'stros are after he gets well.

    .366 - not .386. it's actually currently .364. interestingly, taveras' OB% since the all-star break last year (covering 455 ABs)? .364.

    i mean, nick, seriously: when does willy taveras, a 25-year old OF with a career minor league OB% of .368 (in 1,900+ ABs) start showing up on your legitimacy radar? what does he have to do? do you realize he's only 16 months older than hunter pence?...

    i don't understand the seemingly automatic taveras dismissal, while, in the same thread, you state your preference for a "serviceable" #6 hitter.
