USC is very good but have a difficult schedule (@ Nebraska, @ ND, @ Arizona...yes, they'll be better, @ Oregon, @ Cal, & @ Arizona St., UCLA). If they manage to get through that with only 1 loss, they have a good shot at the title game.

Florida has a fairly favorable schedule, but I'm not sold on Tebow as a full time qb. Not to mention that it is the SEC where anyone can win on any given day.

LSU is going to be very good and probably have the best shot to make it out of the SEC undefeated. Their schedule has most of the tough games at home and they are going to be the best defensive team in the country.

I think USC may be a little overrated considering they lost 2 of the best receivers in football. I think they lose to Oregon and Nebraska on the road. Maybe even UCLA again.

I agree Miami being unranked is crazy. Last year was a fluke season. Now my Aggies have to play a tough critical game at Miami and they might not even be ranked! Risk/Reward not looking too good on that one.

there is no doubt in my mind the aggies will lose that game. thats the exact type of team that would/should blow out the aggies.

Last year LSU>>>>>>>>Florida but LSU had to play so many tough road games and got so many tough breaks (stupid college football and their no playoff system) including at Florida. This years LSU team does not have the same talent but they are close. USC and Texas both have a great chance at running the table. Florida and OKl are the other two teams to think about. Then again maybe someone will come out of the big 10.

Sorry but I learned my lesson back in 2001 when the Canes came back from probation and won the national title outright against Nebraska. They went out to like 32 straight games before that loss to OSU in that controversial fiesta bowl overtime game.

No way I'm going to leave the Canes for dead. I remember after they got suspended in 1996 everyone said Miami was over and they would never be able to recruit players to make it back. They proved everyone wrong and pulled one of the biggest turnaround in sports history.

Also never count FSU out as well because far too many times Bobby Bowden has shown the ability to surprise a lot of folks.

It is pretty much impossible to run the table in the SEC. There are so many great teams, and very difficult places to win on the road. Probably all of those teams in the SEC are going to have at least 1 or 2 losses, we aren't going to see 2 undefeated teams in the title game.

As far as USC goes, they have a Heisman caliber QB in Booty who lit up Michigan in the Rose Bowl, a STABLE of RBs, Chauncey Washington, CJ Cable and others, and some good young recievers like Patrick Turner, and I believe almost the whole defense is coming back.

They lost Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart and LenDale White and others in 06 and were one play away from going to the National Champiomnship and probably beating Ohio State. Jarrett and Smith won't hurt because they have hosts of blue chip recruits waiting behind them.

    Wow quite a prediction there.

Yeah Miami's going to rebound well; top 5 defense no question. Offense is still horrid, but at least can't get any worse than last year.

TAMU and OU are the roadblocks out of conference. 8 wins easily. The attitude (even after a **** season like last year) is still there; the team still acts as if they're national title contenders. BCS in the ACC is HIGHLY attainable.

Those polls mean nothing (especially the last) when USF is ranked w/o FSU or Miami.

And Florida won't compete for the title this year with the depleted defense.
