Man DREAMer, things sure has changed since I hustled tables. Back then, whatever you stuffed in your pockets was all yours. The only time it came out was for the late breakfasts.

But, alas, my life is simpler these days...hmmm, what I don't like about my job?

I can go a whole week and not see a soul. Sure, it's cool working from home, but if you're a computer freak like me, it's real easy to loose the world sometimes...

I love my job, and think most publishers could never handle the creative process.

However, I would not mind a regular work day for once.

I love my job like no other man has ever loved his job. They gave me a decked out laptop (with dvd for those long flights). My desktop has a t1 connection which is nice for 2k emails and 200 meg Morpeheus thieveries. I am 'in training' which means I presently have zero responsibilities. My coworkers are diverse, interesting, and great people. They encourage golf. My hours are very reasonable. I, honest to God, cannot think of one, single complaint. I should thank Him more often. However, in the past, I have worked at a video store and empathize. I have worked at every level in a restaurant and totally relate to the cheap b*stard that doesn't tip. I have worked the grave yard at a Chevron in NacoNowhere, TX. I did serve as an enlisted man in the greatest Army on earth. I sold sub-prime mortgages. I sold uniforms. I have been around the block, paid my dues, pick all of the cliches and I have experienced it. I truly believe in Karma.

PS-Once I'm through training the stress level will escalate but I won't complain. I am a truly happy man.
