lost howard...tmac is getting older and slower..james is a marginal upgrade over Head, Dike is getting older. There is still no starting small forward(sorry Battier doesnt cut it) there is no backup center, no starting pf , and Alston is still your starting pg. Wells will come in fat and out of shape again., The rockets arent getting A baggage filled player like Zach Randolph. The Kings arent going to do any favors handing us Artest. The sonics arent going to do us any favors handing us Wilcox or lewis. The Lakers arent doing us any favors handing us Kobe.. Milicic is a bust, Anderson Verjeo proved in the finals he is a complete nothing.. Gooden has a f-up haircut... This is your team for next year alston/james tmac/head battier/wells hayes/novak yao/dike not much better imho..and certainly not going to overtake the suns or mavs or spurs good luck prediction; after the first preseason game loss, everyone will be crying for jvg back.

Did you wake up this morning and decide " I've never been flamed before. I think i'll write a gloom and doom prophecy so I can get lit up like a snowball rolling across the sun". The Rockets aren't likely to use the MLE on a Europlayer and might be able to get a decent player in the draft .They can use the MLE to upgrade the team. I'm not saying we are going to be better than the elite teams and certainly problems will remain but I don't think it will be as bad as you feel.
