I'm excited we won, but in the second half the Rockets had no ball movement. This has to change if we are going to be successful this season.

Moochie was horrible, Steve was trying to drive around the entire Hawks team, and Cat had no court vision at all. (Hawks players kept double-teaming him from behind and stealing the ball):(

I hope the Rocket's coaching staff makes the players sit through that game tape. And did anyone notice if Atlanta was playing a zone?

I agree, lack of ball movement was a major problem. Our SFs inability to knock down shots allowed the Hawks defense to help on Steve and Cat.

Rice didn't look good, but I am confident that his shot will come.

First game jitters and an off night shooting. That'll happen. I think the lack of ball movement happened because the team was basically out of sync at times. It'll definitely get better, but it was just one of those games.

    RA,

Moochie was great! There was no intesity in the 1st quarter until Moochie came out in the 2nd quarter. He got as many assists as My boy Stevie did in 46 minutes in just 18 minutes! Moochie sparked up the intensity.;)

I still think this offense sux. Its no movement and the pick and roll is always a pick and fade. They run the offense like they're running against invisible players, just going thru the motions. As much as i hate to say it, watching Utah play offense make you wonder why we couldn't have motion a weakside cuts like that. We know Stocton can handle and dribble the air out of the ball, but he doesn't. The Rockets have more offensive talent than the Jazz, but that dribbling **** pisses me off. I wish most formation we could start 1-4 high instead of iso one side of the court. that way we could rub off high pick, and run into our offense like utah. even though i watched and taped houston, the bucks-jazz was played like basketball is suppose to be played.

As stated previously, when he robbed us for $5 or $6 mil per year. Teams have figured the bank robber (moochie) out. Let him pound away at the top of the key and on the wing and force him to his right hand and his game stinks. After dribbling for 20 seconds he forces a pass to anybody for a shot.

    Bank Robber pass the rock

    Dribble, dribble, dribble...

In defense the first unit hadn't played together much. They need to get some back screens, double screens and motion going side to side.

Atlanta was sagging four guys toward the lane.
