That Cranberries song is over 10 years old, man. I think the statues of limitations in copying other people's music should be about a decade. Plus most of the kiddoes listening to Rhihanna these days, have no clue about the original song or band.

"runnin" was a wonderful song until she phocked it up. i think that was under a decade. my bad if i'm mistaken. a decade is still a little to soon for imo. gotta let it marinate. the studdering of "umbrella" is defintely too cranberryish. esp if the chorus is 9/10 of the song. just that one part though. edit: i mentioned the words "cranberry ripoff" to a coworker and "zombie" was the next word out of his mouth. heheh btw... i knew the forehead thing would get brought up, but not this soon.
Also, wTF is up with the song unfaithful. It's one thing to have affairs and ****, but announcing that all over is just plain tacky. "I'm a w****, i'm a slut, i cheat" and thats what the whole song is about. The worst is when i'm driving my sister and the kids she's babysitting (like 10 years old or something) belching out unfaithful like its cool. Next kids will be singing about crack.
Calling the song a Zombie ripoff is giving her too much credit. I could sit there and whine "umbrella" in a jacked up voice and rack it up. Whatever...

that's always happened in pop music. it shouldn't really matter though should it? from what i'm hearing lately every second indie pop band seems to have a song that's a ripoff of cornershop's brimful of asha.
like thats going to stop him from posting and i hear him humming the song at work btw, the song was ok at first, now its just annoying, the whole "eh eh eh" which I can see why u say its a "Zombie" ripoff, annoys the hell out of me, you dont know if its a CD skipping or something as for the video, damn... it reminds me of the Pussycat Dolls' "Buttons" video, just with water

this song has nothing to do with Zombie. I don't hear any real musical resemblance. And calling SOS and "ripoff" of Tainted Love is incorrect to me.. it's using their exact beat, so I'm guessing she had to pay for it. As opposed to Jessica Simpson, who really ripped off Madonna in her one song that sounded exactly like a Madonna song without ever actually using any of the Madonna stuff
Horrible, bland music. But I'd **** her. That's why the record company gives her songs to perform - because lots of guys want to **** her.
