Great job by Wandy tonight. I thought he was heading back to his normal Wandy ove his past few starts, but maybe he really has figured something out. His success is very much determined on getting ahead early in counts. When he throws first pitch strikes consistently, he can be really good.

Did anybody else just hear Milo announce that there was group of people out at Minute Maid tonight to celebrate the birthday of NED FLANDERS? Also, there was another group at the ballpark tonight referred to as "MONTGOMERY BURNS and friends."

Hmmm, Pence is the only hitless Astro (starter) tonight.

But Biggio is just 12 hits away!!! And to think the 610 radio guys said there was no way he should start against Hernandez. :D

If my math is correct, Biggio now has sole possession of #27 all time hits.

One more double and he will be tied for #6 all time doubles.

With Adam Everett out of the lineup, the Astros got 5 runs on 12 hits.

It is precisely due to Adam's absence that Biggio suddenly went 3-for-5 and Lance and Caballo went 2-for-4 on the same night for the first time in (seemingly) for-fricken-ever. Yeah, we should have caned that dude's legs a long time ago.

Some dork did that at a Rockets game that I took my yet to be wife too. She said if I ever did something like that to her she'd slug me in front of 16,000 people. We are married now and I wisely proposed in private.

My wife said the same thing to me. I too proposed in private.

Good to see the bats rolling. I must admit that I am impressed with Wandy's pitching.

Charlie "Zorbist" Pallilo owes Garner and Biggio an apology.

Is Ichiro playing center now, or is he playing center for this series seeing as Center is 5,000 yards?

    man, a multirun inning.

    we may win this series.

Dude, you didn't know baseball attracts hot babes? Same thing at college baseball games too. But you have to have the good seats, because the hotter ones don't sit in the nosebleed section.
