Can't fault a guy for trying and he certainly could have had it with a better angle...but you aren't wrong.
Pence seems to always be awkward around the wall. A couple of catches he made he jumped when he didn't need to (and caught the ball around his midsection). It's just kind of weird. Hopefully he just needs more experience.
