yeah so i was shooting in a forest, i guess a natural reserve, and not aiming at animals, a dude came up to me and said i am not allowed to shoot in here, told me to leave or he would call the cops (not that nicely though)....so yeah whats this country coming to you can even shoot stuff in a forest where theres nobody around? and also, if you work in the forest, arnt you suppose to have a uniform or something??
he doesn't want you to shoot anymore squirrels that you might "accidently" put in the tires of your bike.
on a sidenote, beware of squirrels: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070614/od_nm/germany_squirrel_dc;_ylt=AgQaaYcF8VgWjg0v8JIW5wgSH9EA
You should have busted out your best Clint Eastwood voice and said, "I got a question for you...If I shoot you in the forest, and nobody is around to hear it, did I really shoot you?" BLAM!!
its an air gun, the pellets are 4.5 MM (smaller than standard airsoft gun). weighs about 7.9grams, max velocity is about 550 FPS, it doesnt have the power or speed to kill someone, heck, you cant even kill a rabbit with it. that said, i am very responsible with it, and the reason i was shooting it in the forest was because theres nobody around (except that douchebag)...i guess ill just nail a board to my garage and shoot that.
We used to shoot our pellet gun rifles in the woods around my house in Sugar Land. Although, I'm sure it's all houses now. (they just started to clear out some of the woods around the brazos when we were shooting....[9 years ago] )
If it was me, I would have taken your gun and hit you with it. Guns with no more power than that serve no purpose. Perhaps it could have penetrated your eyeball.
Maybe next time you can just swing a butcher knife in the air instead. Still has the capacity to kill, but pretty harmless to distant people. Unless you're this guy
plinking. just shooting targets, its sort of like, you dont buy a gun just to kill someone, can shoot targets for fun or blowing some steam.
