If he has asked to be released and play In Europe then he wasn't shafted.

I think the trade for MJ was a great move and it seems they will share the pg duties.

Now as far as VSpan I believe some Euro team (PAO that is) will try buy out his contract this summer.

I really think Span will be here next year or traded to another NBA team...

If PAO were gonna get him back it would have happened already. And thats ignoring the fact that right now PAO is loaded with guards (Diamantidis, Chatzivrettas, Vujanic, Becirovic, Siskauskas) and I can't see any of them leaving....(although they had Tony Delk but released him so in theory that extra spot is still free). Maybe Barcelona will give it a shot but I wouldnt bet on it

PAO won't make any official offer to VSPan and Houston before the finals are over. I also think there's a good chance that MJ and Alston will share the pg time. It seems to me that Span will be traded as a filler, but then again I might be wrong...

Didn't Diamantidis get an offer from another NBA team?

Although I wouldn't expect him to leave his team, he would be a play well at pg with his defensive skills and all-around game even at the nba level.

Who cares? He is a bench player. He is no more valuable than any other bench player. All players not named TMac and Ming are trade fodder. I dont understand how people fall in love with these insignificant players. It seems almost like some like the players more than the team itself. If VSpan gets traded and brings us a player in return that can help this team win then bye bye! The big picture people, the big picture.
