It's 2 am, I'm up writing a paper, and all I can think about is the season starting tomorrow...actually, it's later today! Most of y'all are probably asleep or off-line by now. But when day comes, break out your whooping sticks. I got that feelin that the Rocks are in for a great year. Yeah!!! The seaon is here!!! Everyone give me a "Go Rockets!" Write it, shout it, think it! Go Rockets!
I can't wait either. This year is going to be fun. I was watching tape from last year and our team this year is way better than last years. More entertaining too. Francis has really grown; it's totally apparent. And I actually am glad the "zone" rules were implemented, it brings a new life to our offense, and it’s beautiful! Our offense has grown quite a bit, seems like there is more cutting and movement, more action. Oh and getting Willis was a lifesaver. He makes our frontline acceptable. It's scary to think we won 40+ games last season and a lot of those games our only big men were Mo, KT, and Carlos. Surely Cato+Willis+KT+Griff are going to provide more stability up front compared to last year (even though we miss Mo). I can't wait......16 hours to go.....
Just seeing the times that you guys are posting is making me sleepy. GET SOME SLEEP or you'll fall asleep during the game!!! Oh yeah...that's what work is for...napping! I can only say that I feel like that guy in the Rockets commercial sitting on his couch screaming at the television. My wife better get ready for my season-long personal battle with the conspiracy -minded referees. She tells me that I talk more to the referees during the Rockets' games than I do to her. Hey, I've gotten my priorities straight, right??? She's a big fan and is pretty excited about the new season. I just hope that Houston, as a city, can get behind this team and show significant more support than we did last season.

im still bummed about the astros. but hey, i was really excited before the last rockets season and we didnt make the playoffs, maybe this year, since im slightly apathetic, we will make the playoffs. im looking forward to watching rice and griffin, but when mo went down with the injury, it kind of blew my excitement for the season. i think hes my fav player.

I'm kinda running into some money problems so I might have to start working again. I don't want to work though. Maybe I'll work the football games for faculty club, but I won't be able to do that until next fall. How do you know Joey? By the way, it's Joey, not Joe. The dude wanted to be cool and changed his name in the 10th grade. It worked. Now he's been a pimp ever since and I'm a loser. It also helped that he bulked out of no where and straightened his persona out. I talk to him occasionally, but we're tight like that. We just exist mostly in different environments (meaning we don't hang out with the same people-college does that to you). I'm still picking my brain as to who you are? Did you go to my high school. If you know me, why didn't you ever say so. I don't know any big-time rocket fans here at A&M. I'm going back over to my summer house to watch the game (I don't have a TV and the football players just watch BET in the lounge all the time). Where are you watching the game? Maybe we can watch it together some time in the future. I know some waitresses at the Fox and Hound. They are mighty fine ladies. Go Rockets!
