When you get up in the morning and the light is hurt your head The first thing you do when you get up out of bed Is hit that streets a-runnin and try to beat the masses And go get yourself some cheap sunglasses Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah Spied a little thing and I followed her all night In a funky fine levis and her sweaters kind of tight She had a west coast strut that was as sweet as molases But what really knocked me out was her cheap sunglasses Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah (solo) Now go out and get yourself some big black frames With the glass so dark thay wont even know your name And the choice is up to you cause they come in two classes: Rhinestone shades or cheap sunglasses Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
yeah, definitely gonna miss ya. and how you put up 21 and 12 in that horrendous 05-06 season when yao and tmac were out. does anyone find it ironic we traded juwan for MJ when they had a little scuffle back when he was with toronto...?
he's a true professional. he stayed ready to contribute even when he thought he wouldn't see the floor at all this season. i credit juwon and deke for getting us to the playoffs last season. however, the move is for the best. i wish juwon a successful season in mini.
Thanks for the toughness, thanks for the leadership, thanks for stepping up big when you were the last defense, thanks for helping us get Mike James back. I'm sorry we got you in the wrong part of your career. Let me know your Minnesota address, and I'll send you a pair of sunglasses as a going away present.
Thanks for everything. You were truly a "consummate" and professional player. Good luck in Minnesota!
T-Mac was the team captain, but Juwan was the one who took charge in the huddles. Who is going to do that now?
I'm glad we traded juwan for james, it was a great pick up for us. I will miss juwan, he was a great teammate to the rockets. He never complained about being benched, and when he was in during that Yao-less stretch he played great. At his age, he should be proud of his production. If he hadn't been overpaid by the nuggets w/ that huge burden of a contract, he'd be considered a great bargain pick up. Good luck to him, too bad the T-Wolves are going nowhere but the lottery again
You can say the guy's game sucks now or that he isn't worth the money he's making, but when he needed to step up with our superstars out, he did. Gotta give him credit for that. Good luck and later JHo.
Juwan may not have been the perfect player, but he always gave maximum effort when he was on the floor. I heard him referred to as the consumate professional, and I think that is a good description of him. Even when benched early in the year, he never complained. And like D.o.D. said, when called upon to step up his game he was one who always responded. Thanks J-Ho, good luck in Minny. DD
Great to see you back, DD, and agree about Howard. It's a pity he didn't step in the playoffs, like he did during the season when needed, but the guy was a class act for the Rocks. I wish him luck.
JuHo was the sole ok-ish of all the junk thrown into TMac - SF/Cat. BTW - what does Oh - lando have left from that deal?
I couldn't have said it better. If he had played well against Utah he probably wouldn't be traded for Mike James.
Juwan is a very professional player and a very nice person. I wish him best of luck in Mini and in his life.
