Dan Langhi has been placed on the IR to start the season -- along with Collier and Taylor. Tierre Brown continues to surprise. Not only did he make the final cut, but he is one of the 12 players on the active roster. I guess he is insurance incase Moochie's hamstring injury flares up. Brown must have really impressed the Rocket staff during training camp.
Given that Tierre Brown is a luxury (3rd. point guard), I am very surprise that he is on the active roster instead of Langhi.
Langhi plays a posisition that is more loaded than any other postition on the team so it should come as no suprise that he would find himself on IR.
I really don't think Langhi is in serious jepurdy of being cut from the team. Walt is in the last year of his contract and is getting old. He may not be here next year. Rice is also up in age and has developed some physical problems that could limit his time with the Rockets. That leaves TMo as the only natural 3 on the team and he is a rookie. Langhi could end up back on the active roster for any number of reasons before the year is out. Worst case scenario, Langhi stays on IR all year for insurance and the Rockets rencounce his rights at the end of the season.
If I was Langhi I would move on, he deserves a chance to play, and I think he could fit nicely if he gets the minutes he needs. I think Dan will not be here next year, he will move on. DaDakota
This just in: Rudy has gone to inordinate lengths to let DaDakota know that he lost the bet. hahahahahahaahhahhhaaa h hi hi ho ho h hmm.
I heard a report last weekend that Moochie may not be ready to go today. I'm guessing Mr. Brown will only be on the roster until Mopchie is all the way back. j
