I'd take Arenas in a heartbeat, but only if we can still hold on to Head or our first round pick. No way I part with those pieces.

Nah... we'll just bring Jordan out of retirement. He will offer to play for us for free, take over leadership of the team, show Kobe how to score and lead us to a new dynasty. :D

What salaries will the Bullets look to exit, so they can pay Gilbert?

    I'd like Antonio Daniels.

    Good.

It's also why there's a "random trade talk" thread stickied at the top of the forum, so crazy threads about getting Kobe Bryant and reviving Wilt Chamberlain from the dead to play Center can stay out of the forum. But sometimes you just gotta take your lumps, I guess. :)

Arenas wants to be the 1st option in a team, not the 3rd option.

I gilbert was the third scorer, tmac and yao would need to average 35 ppg. No way he would ever take anything but a HUGE contract and he sure as hell is not willing to be a 3rd option

I'll take a pass. I'd rather have Kobe Bryant as our third option, then Arenas as our fourth option.

It's been overstated in this thread but...
    0 always comes before 1.
Gilbert would make a nice third scorer. Behind Wade and LeBron on the East All-Star team.
