First, sorry if this is in the wrong forum. A buddy of mine thinks he has a way to save the average fan a few bucks/rockets game - maybe other events too? - but he needs to do some market research first. So if you have a minute answer these questions for me, and if this thing works out, I'll obviously fill you guys in on more details. Thanks!

    1) How many REGULAR season games do you go to every year? An estimate is fine.
    2) When you go, how many people do you generally go with?
    3) What is your average price range that you are ok with spending on tickets?
    4) How early in advance do you buy these seats?
    5) If a game is on Thursday night at 730, would you be willing to wait until Wednesday at 730 to see if you could get the seats for a few bucks cheaper (few meaning btwn 3-10/ticket i would assume)

Thanks for your time and I really hope this guy actually has a reasonable idea because Im sure the cheaper that we can get people in the seats, the better our home court edge will be!

#5 means that he would basically be able to get the fan that is willing to wait till the last minute a cheaper ticket more often than those that have to get their tickets in advance (which is perfectly reasonable too)..

    3. $35 - $80
    4. usually buy package before season starts...on some individual games i will purchase roughly 1-2 days before.
    5. of course. unless its a very important game, then i like to buy in advance

    1) at least 2 (hey, I have a family and bills to pay :p )
    2) from the 2 that I go, one is with the entire family (4) of four, and the other is with the wife only (2 people).
    3) 30-50
    4) usually from 3-4 days to a couple of weeks
    5) yes, I would be willing to wait... but... dang, that's bad for planning an outing for the family, though.
