I don't remember him having a lot of "run ins" with the law. It was the flag thing then he backed down on it, then paid the price by getting blackballed by the league. Moreover, the guy does a bunch of great stuff in his community now, and lives an exemplary life by all accounts (there was a really good 'beyond the glory' type of show on him last year, it was very moving).
Sorry to distract from the conversation, but man that guy could ball. He might be the only guy I've ever seen dominate college basketball more than Kevin Durant did this year.
