not a very good scout. :p

i really like the idea of drafting dudley, jason smith, or bobby brown. nice to see them impress the scouts so far.

Probably will, but if we or another team doesn't guarantee him first round selection he will take his name out of the draft.

he's expected to be an early second rounder, so i'm pretty sure of the rockets want him, he'll be there.

i'm not really high on this guy. draft express has his best case senario as beno udrih. plus we already have billy who is about to have a breakout year under adleman.

good to see herbert hill being looked at.

and its no surprise that dudley is impressing people.

I agree with smooth, unless we are drafting a pg who is projected to be either a immediate impact player or a future star, we need to stay away.

we have enough projects and career back-up points on this team as is.

Green might be a logical choice for the Rockets.

He appears to have more talent than Udrih. Right now he is a backup PG but he appears to have genuine upside and might be a possible future starter PG for a team. He is only 19 and worth a look at number 26 IMO. We also have to see if VSpan decides to come back or not.

One of the draft sites have us taking Devin Hardin of Cal (if he stays in the draft). Any one seen this guy?

Supposedly he can play C or PF........that helps.

    Any info.?

i think he was referring to when the scour said "i've never seen him get hurt."

with this teams health, a guy that doesn't get hurt is a logical choice. at least that's what i think No Worries was saying.

lol at "some foreign guy"... that's the kind of detail I want to hear from my scouts.

But I'm kind of sad to see Aaron Gray getting praise for the workout... I really don't like his NBA potential, and I could see him as someone the Rockets may have had interest in

UMD Homer moment: Cool to see Ibekwe there, wish Strawberry had made it. The Rockets need perimeter D and it will be very hard to find any better than Strawberry. Ibekwe would be great on the Rockets if he bulked up, learned how to shoot, showed some consistency, etc... basically, he's a terrible fit as is and I don't see him getting drafted. Great shot blocking though, along with nice agility, quickness, and ability to run the floor for a big man, and he did put up 22 pts on Nowitzki at the world games... unrealized potential, imo.

"some foreign guy" could be Kyrylo Fesenko. apparently scouts are high on him and being ambiguous about it.

those quotes have to be taken with a grain of salt. i don't scouts would want to share information so easily maybe only when they want to throw a herring or two.

The thing that caught my eye was "he made shots".

"he’s not going to wow you, but I’ve still never seen him hurt himself.”

i think he was referring to his draft stock.

I remember Jared Dudley at BC owning Duke a couple of years back. He was pretty solid, although I think he might be kind of a tweener. I like the Almond kid from Rice too -> we need guys who can hit the open 3 pointer.
