It'll be nice to see Stevie return and hopefully end his career in Houston... Granted he doesn't screw up :D

No need for washed up players on this team.

Yeah lets keep the ones that were never good at all ... Bring Stevie back! He would fit real nicely alongside Yao and Tracy.

I'll agree that alston is no good, but we have a star in the making with vspan. Francis is done and finished. He's way past his prime and is maybe a 10 minute player in this league now.

I was never a fan of his, but I wouldn't be opposed to his return if he has a new attitude and is a bench player. I just don't think he is controlled enough to be a starter anymore.

I am not sure if he would work with McGrady on the same team....

I'm 50/50 on this, I used to love Francis back then, he just diminished the past 3 years....

I don't either. It would sort of force McGrady to be the point guard when Francis was in the lineup.

why do people insist on vspan being a star?? He has proved nothing I mean have you seen the guy shoot??? You are acting he can get to the rack at will like dwade he does not have the handles or the quickness to blow by his defender. Every time I see him take it to the rack he does some weird looking shot. VSPAN is not the answer!!

they suppose they have a 50% chance of looking like a genius if he turns out great or 50% chance of looking like an idiot(which will probably happen) when he doesn't

i've been indifferent about the possibility. On one hand, his talent is off the charts. the guy did things that few could. On the other, despite all of his talents he wasnt a great 'basketball player', meaning that it just didnt seem he really understood what he needed to do to make the team better.

he certainly wouldnt hurt and bringing him off the bench would fill the need for some bench scoring.

you would think that the last couple of years have humbled him and made him realize that it isnt always about making some great dunk of crossing someone over to be an effective player. If he came in and embraced a limited role, he could be helpful.

Francis has all the heart that McGrady lacks. They would present a formidable backcourt.

Yes, do I need to repeat myself. Once vspan gets a proper chance and some experience in the nba, he will be a star.
