Rockets 35-42 wins if Jackson were there it would be more. You guys are going to miss Taylor. Rice will help a bit. Francis becomes a 20 pt scorer. Teams to watch in the West Clippers/Warriors. I really think the Warriors have better young talent than the Rockets Jackson, Jamison, Hughes, Richardson, Fourtson.

East Orlando wins 54-60 games. McGrady avs 28pts and wins the MVP.

    50 wins.

I had my doubts prior to the pre-season; and I know these games ultimately mean nothing.....BUT , Franchise has looked phenomenal, Cat has been great, and the defense of the rookies is superb. (Any more superlatives and I'll throw up, so ya'll get the idea.)

Terrence Morris looks like he belongs out there. Hope he gets plenty of P.T.

Even Cato has played well. Of course, the games don't count yet...but, fingers crossed! Good thing we brought in Big Kev.

6th or 7th seed. We'd need to play Dallas or San Antonio in the first round in order to have a chance, however slight, of moving on. But who knows? That swarming D made a believer out of me last night.

GS may have some talent but their coach, managment, and player health sux so they will win 22 games. Get lost troll.

The Rox look solid on D and have alot of fire power on O. If Rudy T doesn't go with stupid lineups and rotations we should win 52 games easily.

Look out west we have a strong frontline: Cato, Griffin, Willis, Thomas.

This is going to be a tough year. We have too many new players for it not to be. However it is goingto be veery soimilar to teh Rockets second title run where the season was very hard but the team caught fire towards the end. The same wil happen to this team, the rooks wil finally start making their mark and feel comfortable in the last quarter odf the season. We will make it to the playoofs(barely) but be the team that no one wants to face. So the record will proably be somewhere around 47 wins

    Other predictions.

Cato will finally earn some of his contract this year
10 pts and 12 recounds per game

Willis will average 10 and 8

The Wiz gets traded because Rice catches fire from the three .

Oscar Torres gets a surpsising amount of playing time. This may add to the Williams deal as we have too many players at the same positions.

    All for now

I have been excited about this team's progress, but listening to the game last night really made me a believer. I was actually "giddy," jumping up and down in my apartment.

Granted, one game does not a season make, but if the Rockets bring that type of intensity on D, the sky is the limit. The Rockets are going to shock a lot of people this year. Can you say Western Conference Finals ;)

    Conference Projections:

    1. Lakers -- still too tough for anyone, period.

    2. Spurs -- This team will belong to the Rockets, but will put together a nice regular season record as usual.

    3. Rockets -- Rockets rediscover defense, shock everyone. Francis become one of the games most dominant players.

    4. Kings -- Repeat performance of last year. Webber continues to talk to the media before every game about his "victimization." Attempts to punish all franchises for imprisoning him in Sacramento.

    4. Mavs -- The Mavs prove last season was no fluke. Hardaway and Manning help off the bench. Dirk explodes and becomes an all star.

    Favorites for the 6-8 seeds

    6. Jailblazers -- still a lot of talent with nothing to show for it.

    7. Timberwolves -- If Woods can play consistently, this team makes the playoffs.

    8. Jazz -- Old men have just enough to slip in if Stockton and Malone stay healthy.

on the bubble for the 6-8 seeds

Clippers -- Exciting team to watch, but still one year away. The Clippers will be improved but will struggle with consistency and closing out games.

Suns -- Will miss Jason Kidd's decidion-making in big games.

Sonics -- Miss playoffs again. Payton verbally abuses all of his teammates.

    I like Rocket Addict's predictions. :p

No, but serious, just a 49-33 record, 7th, upset Spurs, upset Kings, upset Lakers in WCF, win it all in 7 vs. Toronto. That's it. Let's not get overzealous here, guys.

Alright, so maybe I am getting a bit carried away, but I just can't help myself. Still, we are going to surprise a lot of people.
