I wouldn't change a thing. Although I have only been married 6 months, my wife and I did live together for 2 years prior. Luckily I waited almost 30 years to get married, so I got to play the field many times over and was really ready to settle down. Been there, done that (and it was glorious at the time )
actually that weekend is the weekend the 'stros play at arlington. jacob and i were gonna go. i mentioned it to my wife, not even thinking about dates and she said, "that's the weekend of our anniversary...but you can go. no big deal." no way!!! never buy that line!!! i think she meant it. but still...i don't wanna hear for the rest of my life about how i went to arlington to watch baseball on our 10th anniversary! soooo...he and i went last weekend to see the red sox, instead!
I don't know if I'd say such a vote would indicate a mistake. You could be content with your choice but want to try something new for novelty's sake, since the hypothetical is that you're starting over, i.e. no history. That's kinda what led me to start this poll. I feel like I've met a great girl and will probably ask her to marry me soon, but sometimes I can't shake the feeling that I'm missing out on my "youth" by chasing other girls. I'm 24 btw.

Not true. I encourage my boyfriend to go out with his friends. It's when he asks me to tag along with him and a bunch of guys to a club that I decline. But, generally, he's the one that doesn't like me to go anywhere.

Haha that gave me a nice little chuckle. Looks like she's about to kick some @zz Anywho, I've only been with 4 women.. and I would definitely go with any of the last 3 (including the present) if I had to start over. They were all perfect, and I'm not talking about more than looks. The only problem was that all of them cared too much about me and I kind of pushed them away. I was such a jackass. I'm holding on to my current lady very strongly (even though I keep repeating the same mistakes from previous relationships). I don't really realize how good I have it until I'm away from her. She seems like she'd not only be a good wife, but also a good mother as well.
No regrets. 29 years and counting. (not counting the 4 years we lived together, off and on, before we did the deed)
