    When I used to go to Wendy's I would frequently get a potato and chili. I never even knew the packet existed. Maybe some restaurants don't bother w/ them at all? Maybe it's a regional thing? Because I've never seen one in Florida.

    I go to Wendy's once or twice a week and almost always get the chili. Without asking for anything extra, they give me chili sauce 10% of the time, 2 packets of crackers 60% of the time, 3 packets of crackers 15% of the time, 4 packets of crackers 5% of the time, and nothing 9% of the time. That 1% of the time was when they didn't even give me the chili, but I had driven off before I realized it :mad: The chili sauce is... ok.

    I forgot about the chili sauce. Some locations give it to you without asking, others do not. Too bad they didn't say let me get some more chili sauce and close the drive thru window (hopefully bullet proof of course) and call the police.

    i jes realized, he got at least 10 packs of chili sauce already. 10 packs! was he making a chili sauce sandwich? if he was, that could explain a couple of things. When my family just got here and we was majorly poor, I survived on mayo sandwiches. I'd take like 20 mayo packets from school and voila, instant snack. all I needed was 2 slices of bread

    It's ok. I would be at home when I was 5 with my 9 year old brother and we wouldn't have anything to eat so we would SPLIT a mayonnaise sandwhich. :p Ahh, how I miss Denver Harbor.

    LOL, Just give him the chili... Jesus.

    When i first read the thread title, I was thinking of some nerd behind the cashier saying no to a gunman requesting chili sauce.

    That must be a relatively new policy. I managed a Wendy's about seven years ago and that was one condiment that I don't remember there being a policy about.

    And while I enjoy Wendy's chili, I'll be the first to admit that chili sauce is some foul ****. All you need is Tabasco, baby...

    All the grease on the grill, plus a little salt.

    Grease = yummy

    just like some guys say not cleaning their grills contributes to the taste of the meat, Wendys believes not cleaning the cooking surface adds to that special taste.

    ;)

    I dont bother with the Wendys chili, my wife's is better, but those burgers are good, I just dont like the limp piece of lettuce they put on them or the copious amounts of grease.

    Red Foxx joke : I was so poor as a kid, if I wasn't a boy I wouldn't have had anything to play with.
