David Robinson was at the game. They zoomed in on him several times during the game....

i had clyde's bbq once and it wasnt that great. what on earth is he doing cheering for the Spurs??!!!

you dont see Rudy T or Calvin doing this crap. Oh wait, Clyde played for Portland for 11 years and Rudy T and Calvin were with the organization since the 70s.

I'm hoping he was just there to cheer for Horry!

Gervin was definitely at the game. He did the pregame show. Robinson was there too. Why did they have Drexler?

I could understand if it was Portland but the Spurs??? It doesn't make any sense, unless of course, he's doing it for publicity reasons... Which kinda does make him unloyal.

Didn’t Hakeem congratulate Duncan a few years ago when San Antonio won the west after the game?

Love this thread. Much needed. :) But Tinman, as much as I appreciate your educating the newbies, you've been negletful.

We have an NBA franchise because of Coogs, and the franchise only stayed here was because of one of them. Well, he was worthy...

But lay off of Clyde, man (horrible broadcaster that he is). Otherwise, you're revising history that brought us a ring.

Not that the newbies care, but I do.

Somebody on ESPN thought he was the best suited Legend on that night to hand it out. So what's up with all the hate. I hate the Spurs but I was glad to see Clyde given the honor to hand it out.

I dunno but that would be the ultimate slap in the face of John Stockton if he presented us with the WCF champs.

I would have a problem if an actual Rox player would do this; but ******* he is retired. Cool down
