I see Griffin had 6 blocks, 8 boards in 25 mins...not bad...not bad at all. Glad to see that Willis had 16 points in 20 something mins..

Griffin with 6 blocks and Morris with 3 blocks. And against the Spurs. I know its early, but its hard not to be excited about our rookies.

Griffin also held his man, Robinson, very well.

    Robinson - 5 pts 1-11 fg in 22 mins.

    ...and another note...
    Duncan - 33 mins 9 rebounds
    Francis - 32 mins 11 rebounds :)

I think that Griffin/Morris could be our new 1-2 punch. Similar to Kenny Smith/Sam Cassell back in our back-to-back championships. Eventhough Eddie did not have his most effective offense night, when he shakes the gitters - The Rockets are going to be the most unpredictable team for the rest of the league to contain.

I wonder if Walt & KT had played the majority of the minutes tonight if the Rockets would have won? No disrespect to either, but defensively Eddie has shown that he should get the start.

I think Griffin has the mentality to start. Skill-wise and physically he definitely is ready.

I believe that Duncan was on the bench the whole 4th quarter, so don't be so shocked that his numbers aren't as high as they usually are.

Griff sat the almost the entire 4th as well. Griff got all of his stats with Duncan in the game.

yeah, but we've got to work on our turnovers. I know it's to be expected with younger players, especially rookies, but it's been a plague on us for 2 or 3 years now. IMHO that and our struggle against a full-court-press are our biggest flaws.

Duncan played as many min. as Francis and Robinson was benched because he was shut down.

Looking at the box score I have noticed how every team we have played gets alot of defensive tech. calls against them and not many against us. Rudy understands the rules well and will be on the refs. hard this season. We will either get teams to give us alot of tech. freethrows or alot of driving lanes.Great!!
