Not crazy, though I imagine the celts would have to part with Al Jefferson and/or Rajan Rondo. Not sure why the celts would do it other htan pure desperation.

If the Lakers traded Kobe, I think it would be more attractive to start over and get legit pieces to rebuild then get a guy like T-Mac. I don't know. They have to sell tickets still. Not that they could, but they would probably be all over a young guy like Durant.

after reading that Wilkens is listening to offers for the 2nd pick (essentially Durant)...and it becomes more apparent that the Sonics will end up in a city other than Seattle...

I guess it's feasible that they could facilitate a 3-way deal in which Durant ends up in LA while they get alot of expirings contracts and young players...while team C gets Kobe

i would imagine kobe wants to go to a contender and not waste his primes yrs in boston. it would be better to stay put in LA in this case.....

charlotte bobcats in a sign and trade with gerald wallace being the centerpiece. wallace has a player option and can opt out. they dont have to sign him to a max deal, but he should get around $10-12 million. package that with the #8 pick and they should get it done. or, they can do wallace, morrison, and their #22 pick. the salaries dont have to match up since charlotte is so far under the cap. charlotte has 2 picks which makes things easier for them to trade one of them.

I don't see why not.. at least Kobe has proven that he can step up in the playoffs.

You do realize Kobe was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets and refused to play there. Thus he was traded to the Lakers. I believe they still boo him.
He will also not go to Miami or Denver. Cleveland won't give up LeBron. Detroit has a bunch of solid veterans that I think they will stay with.

The most logical trading partner is da Bulls. Let say they give up Deng and Hinrich. Chicago would have enough talent left to still compete. Plus they have the Knicks pick. The tough part would be get the numbers to work.

The funny thing is that if Dallas was to give them Dirk for Kobe, they would have gotten rid of two MVP's...with their team getting better both times...

    crazy
