You have to be kidding. Why on earth would you say that? The main thing they have in common is that they are both tall.
Ralph Sampson would have been better then olajuwon if it werent or he's onky knees. he was a freak of nature. 7'4 athelet who could run the floor like a guard. great skillset to boot. noway yao is like him.
Better than Hakeem? What did Ralph do in his best year that was better than Hakeem? Did he have a move that completely dominated the opponents? Did Ralph even have a signature move?
He was more talented. he was a 7'4 Shooting guard. he was an unbeliveble talent that got he's career destroyed by one to many injuries. BTW, i never said he was, i said he could have been...
Ralph had some skills but he did not have unbelievable talents. He was not more talented than Hakeem. He had a passable hook shot that is nowhere near as effective as Jabbar's. A faced up jump shot that may be worse than Yao. His post moves were worse than Yao and Hakeem because his foot work was worse than even Yao. He created a buzz because the big men of that day could not bounce the ball on the floor more than twice without losing it off their feet. 7'4 point guard? Did you see him dribble? He brought the ball up the floor a couple times in his career. It was not a whole lot different than the time Yao dribbled behind the back near mid court and made one nice little pass. If either one of them try the same near a defender a few more times, they would have been stripped of the ball. Neither have point guard skill. Don't believe everything you hear.
I know it's been said before but.................BWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAAAAAAAHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
