Looks like we're gonna see our first rounder play more minutes tonite. K9 will be out of tonites game. This will be a good chance to see him go up against one of the better frontcourts in the league. Tim Duncan vs. Eddie Griffin .... nice :D

Great! Thks. for the info. I'll be watching...I'll try to pop in chat, but it distracts me from the action.

I thought I read that Kevin Willis was going to start tonight....which mean EG wouldn't.

I would really like to see EG start with Cato as well. We will see the best shot blocking duo in the league with Duncan and Robinson. If Cato stays healthy and motivated we could also be watching the second best shot blocking duo in Cato and Griffin.

maybe not tonight, but i honestly believe that in due time (end of the year) eddie griffin will give tim duncan fits. tim's defense is SEVERELY lacking on the perimeter. and eddie has the shot to draw him out PLUS the quickness to go by him.

of course, the $64 million question is whether eddie can contain tim on the blocks.

man, tim v. eddie will be a helluva battle in the coming years. personally, i think if eddie gets a "david robinson-esque" center to go alongside of him, he could be better than tim duncan was after 2 years.

damnit, if hafraud imgladurgone was as loyal as he claimed to be and was still around, eddie would have his "david robinson-esque" center. as is, he'll have to do it with a poor man's mutombo.

yep. i would like to see griff occasionally slip that pnr, though. last game, there were at least 2 occasions where he could have for an easy 2.

slide slide, slippety slide....just saaaaail along (that's what ya do)...just saaaail along.

come aloooong and ride on a faaantastic voyage!

I'd like to see a front line of Willis/Cato/Griffin on the floor at least once or twice. That might be a real tough front line to get past.

I'm predicting 5 blocks 10 reb. 17 points in 33 min. for Eddie.
I know 5 blocks seems like alot, but he had 3(1 was a goaltending call) in about 13 min. the other nite.

I sure as hell hope you are right DP. I'm excited about our team this year. This year is pivotal in Eddie's development. This year should mature him exponentially.

Actually I believe he had 3 goaltending calls the other night. One of those looked like a clean block, but the other two were goal tending. But Lord knows I would be more than happy with a 5 block game.

I think he officialy had one block and two goaltending calls, although one should have been a block.

Do you get the Fox Sports Network? I am assuming Austin is in the same region as San Antonio for FSN and the San Antonio broadcast (hak hak) is suppose to be on FSN. You will not be listening to Bill and Calvin but at least you should be able to see the game.
