Bracket released. Some of the opening games: Texas vs. Brown Texas A&M vs. Le Moyne Rice vs. Prairie View http://www.ncaasports.com/baseball/mens/brackets/viewable/special64/2007/DI
It has been a wonderful season for my beloved Vanderbilt Commodores and I'm quite excited about the NCAA Tournament!
I think that Vandy has the ability to be very successful in the NCAA Tournament. I'm certainly rooting for Vanderbilt to make it to Omaha and win it all!
TCU will first be a bracket buster in baseball and then football in '07! Remember this name...Austin Adams
BU is getting better as the season goes on. They're a young team, still. They're peaking at the right time.
Davey Macias (starting SS) is the younger brother of some my good friends from The Woodlands. I'll be pulling for Vandy...until they meet Texas in the WS final. I'm hoping to go see some of the Texas regional at the Dell Diamond. I wish they could have the super regional there, but it's going to be in Corpus at Whataburger Field.
I can't remember: do they re-seed the CWS bracket after the super regionals, or is it pre-determined?
I'm pretty sure it's pre-determined, but I could be wrong. You gonna try to make any games this weekend?
If A&M and Rice can avoid upsets, that should be a really good Super Regionals matchup. I don't see Rice faltering, but my Ags better not have an off day because ULaLa is a pretty damn good team.
They do not re-seed. As long as they can get games to Luke Prihoda, the closer, SLC Tourney MVP & Pitcher of the Year, they have a chance.
Then Texas & Vandy will be in the same CWS bracket, right?...so no dream championship matchup for you. Rice-Texas or Rice-Vandy is what I'd like to see.
I was going to say the samething. Obviously, they cannot meet in the final if they're on the same side of the bracket.
A couple of years ago ESPN had a PPV called College Grand Slam which showed games from all super regionals. They haven't done it since.
