    When he played for the Spurs, he tore into Duncan and Robinson, I believe. Outside of his ability to jump in people's faces, I have no idea what the man has done to make him a top NBA assistant. :confused:

    Boy howdy, uuuh....moving back onto Elie's coaching credentials...lol...


    Rockets had Mr. Mean himself Larry Smith for a little bit. Did he "infuse" any intensity or get his point across anymore than the next fiery tough-minded guy? Elie would work as a coach in Houston because of his ties to the team, more than for his actual basketball mind.

    He's the guy that basically developed Monta Ellis in Golden State and would still be there if Don Nelson wasn't there.

    People in Oakland generally speak very highly of his ability to work with younger guys.
