Ridiculous Yao passes, like he made when he first got here.

Yao and TMAC are in the first NBA team.
develop one young player (to at least have some trade value) .

    No timeouts followed by turnovers.
    No 4th quarter collapse.
    No more waste of talent.

Luther dunking more is probably not going to happen just because he cuts to the basket more.

100% of Bonzi is not looking too good because if Bonzi's at 50 percent right now, 100 % is 500 pounds.

    I'm lookin for increased wins.

    I want to see:

Yao setting the screen inside the 3pt line for Span who is handling the ball, at that time T-Mac cuts to the lane, Battier is at the corner and (depending on trades) a strong PF with a midrange game/Wells if he's still here/whoever moving to the gap behind span when he makes his move....pick your poison :p

DISCLAIMER: If it was that easy, I'd be a coach so this is a light-hearted comment mentioning something that seems interesting to me. The thing is I know that Span excels in this kind of situation cause he has the ability to take advantage of the mismatch and get to the lay up or the FT line but also make the pass to T-Mac or Yao who being nearer to the basket will have an easier job. I've mentioned before how the way Yao was used for screens seemed wrong to me since those screens were way out and Yao didnt have the speed to take advantage of them. Coupled with Rafer who didnt finish consistently on the drive, it made no sense to run the P'N'R like that.
Rockets have 2 star players that command a double-team, used correctly, 1 or 2 players will always be open. The point is to run an offense that gets all 3 of the remaining rockets players in positions they're comfortable with so you have the offensive options.

    Offense:
-whats been stated already, but to reiterate: more fluidity on offense, dynamic sets and crisp execution.
-expand Yao's role in the offense but limit the time he holds onto the ball ie. pound it into the middle dribble dribble turnover...
    -get a new PG

    Defense:
-pretty much the same intensity and energy we had last year on defense but mix in a little zone D.

Yao's second career 3 pointer made.
T-Mac and Yao NOT getting any significant injuries or DNPs
    Development of young talent

The hopeful beauty of Adelman's more efficient offense
Proving that the above can happen while not losing a defensive mindset

Being able to compete with ALL of the current playoff teams(esp. Utah)
Beating New Orleans and ending their ownage of us
Coasting pre-allstar and shock and awe post-allstar game
Getting past the first round and into the western conf. finals against SA
    Winning a championship

I think this is what happened:

stern called les: you now you have yao and tmac, we really want you guys win several rings, that's a good business, but we cannot promote bad offense, that will hurt tv ratings

les called jvg: stern called me saying if we want to win a ring we have to play better offense

jvg: screw stern, screw offense, find a coach can design a better offense with yao

les was speechless, then he called dream and drexler ....

Yao playing near the basket on defense instead of running across the court to get the pg's drives......keep him by The basket!
